The FLEXA Safety Rail for Platform's is made of solid Nordic pine and is available in both the white wash and clear (natural) finish. This safety rail is designed to give one opening towards the middle of the bed. It can be used to create a toddler bed on the ground but is specifically designed to be used with the FLEXA platform ladder with an angled slide.
The triangular platform attaches to the one opening provided by the middle entry rail. You can then angle the slide in either direction by attaching it to either side of the platform. This is a great option for those who like the low loft bed with a slide but do not have the space in the room for the slide to come directly off the front of the loft bed. To ensure a safe sleeping and playing environment, the middle entry front rail has rounded edges and is made using a special chemical-free UV Lacquer. This front rail is great for hanging FLEXA play pockets, a bedside shelf, a magazine pouch or a blackboard for storage and play.
