This is the FLEXA High Loft Bed with a Straight Ladder. This loft bed is perfect to use with a desk system underneath. Your child can sit comfortably at his or her desk to do homework in a quiet environment. You can make the most of the space underneath by adding a FLEXA five drawer dresser next to any FLEXA desk. This frees up tons of space in the room to play or to relax! By using the extension curtain panels, you can still add curtains to the high loft to create a fort or simply add a colorful backdrop as your child sits at the desk.
The bed can be separated from the leg system at any time and made into a different loft bed, bunk bed, or day bed combination. The straight ladder is compact and saves more space in the room than the angled ladder does. It has grooves in each step to prevent slipping when climbing up and down. The fully integrated flexible slat system distributes the weight of your child evenly throughout the bed. No matter what position your child sleeps in, the flexible slat system will provide excellent support.
FLEXA beds are made from solid Nordic pine which is grown north of the 60th parallel in our own FLEXA Forests. FLEXA beds are weight tested to hold 400 pounds making it a great bed for the whole family to enjoy. The rounded edges and special chemical-free UV Lacquer ensure a safe sleeping and playing environment.
FLEXA offers many great accessory items that can be added to this loft bed system. Our curtains are available in multiple colors and styles to match any child's room and can be used on the high loft when coupled with the extension curtains. Hang a bedside tray from the bed to provide a place to sit a drink or light. FLEXA play pockets and magazine pouches are also a great storage option. They hang on the rails of the bed, freeing up floor space while still providing a spot for your child's favorite teddy bear.
